I agree Jon, It's not much of a deterrent. Apparently he makes £750 per day by shafting people when he's out and doesn't mind spending 9 months or so in prison.

He spends his takings as soon as he gets it so is 'unable' to pay compensation to his victims.

 

It must drive the police bonkers, but sentencing and time served is in the hands of the courts.

Just had a call from the police to say Mr James has been sentanced to two years. Based on past experience he will almost certainly go straight back to his scamming ways on release (probably 11 months or so).

If you get approached on the M4 or M5 in 2017 by a man carrying a green petrol can DO NOT STOP, phone the police, and maybe run over his foot if you get the chance:001_smile:
