Splitter for arb waste

Hi Marc on nice clean straight grain stuff you're right marc in a tyre to Breaking your back into it helps keep the logs in tack thanks Jon

 

I've seen that a few times jon, looks quite good. Does it actually save time, or is it more hassle than its worth?

Seriously though, if you've not alot to do, saves the xost of a splitter.

 

 

I normally split five or six cube per year for myself with the fiskars but have held off knowing a splitters on the cards, no doubt it'll come out for the nice straight stuff but after a days graft I fancy mechanical help.

I'm only a young gun, but buying a splitter was the best thing I ever did. I went for a Thor pto machine, fast, powerful, save and productive. It was so much fun to use I went on to start a small weekend firewood enterprise. It's paid for itself 10 times over now in just 4 seasons, and not a single problem in all that time. My back is as strong as ever, and its still so much fun to use. Never would have come this far with just a fiskars.

Hi Marc have a look on YouTube there on there I've I'm meaning to do one but when you use the axe a lot you can read the timber on how to split it and stop it fly in miles off the chopping block seed of the bend your back thanks Jon
