weaver harnesses

Hi, all 3 of us in my company use weaver harnesses. I have climbed in them for 10 yrs and find it very comfy especially of prolonged takedowns. One of my lads tried a treemagic for a while but wants to go back to a small 1038 weaver as he says it was more comfortable. Can i find one? non in stock anywhere. Fletcher Stewart in Hazel Grove used to be the importer but seem not to be now.

Looking for a comfy harness as a replacement to a weaver, not a glorified rock climbing G string

Kolibbri by skylotec is a good bet.

Was never a fan of the tree magic the tree motion once adjusted right has been the comfiest harness I've owned though.

Usually pretty quick delivery .... That's cheap as well but there will be import charges, usually about £20

Also shipping that's usually another £40, I've ordered on a Monday and had it by Thursday which Is impressive from across the pond and you get a load of free stickers and buffs as well.

Around 200 for a harness delivered from the U.S. Is pretty good I think

yes thats not bad at all. I've since been told by Abbey that weaver are no longer CE marking their harnesses which is the reason they have almost disappeared in the UK.

I have climbed in one since college though. Many lads have said " ooh they're too heavy", even though they have never tried one actually on a proper climb, yea well I'm 16 stone so makes no odds to me and will take the awesome comfort every day. Thanks for your help gonna try to import a couple

My brother wears a weaver.. He buys them from George Carrs in Bristol.

Ive still got a spare one, had little use. I will check the date of first use for you and would send it with a new loler test.

 

Send me a message on here if your interested. Its about a year old I think, im about a 34 waist and have it almost as small as it will go.

 

The only reason I would let it go is I now have a tree motion and reckon its as good. before I used a tree motion I wouldn't climb in any thing else.
