If you need 18" plus have a look at the Multitek.

 

I think a Multitek machine would benefit from having multiple splitting wedges in one.

Rabaud, for example, who offer 2/ 4 / 8 / 16 splits, without changing the wedge.

 

This would be a HUGE time saver, in my opinion, and would make the machine far more appealing.
