Hi,

We have recently taken down a decent sized Yew tree and wanted to know if anyone was interested in some of the logs? I don't want much for them, just beer tokens would be fine, would just prefer to see some of it used.

If no one wants it they will be logged.

Based near Salisbury, and can deliver if necessary

Very nice of you to offer this up , sadly I am a bit too far away otherwise I would be taking you up on the offer ... many thanks .. I hope some one local does get in touch , it would be a shame to log all of it even though it is great firewood !!...

shameful!

How so?

If you are interested I would be happy to put some in a dumpy bag and on a pallet to post.

As said I'm offering them up as I would much prefer to see it used than turned into firewood.

I know, unfortunately access was difficult to the rear garden, we did manage to rip a couple of bits but had to quarter the stem due to the weight of it. Photo below.

Had some interest, still some available
