I was having a play with the lathe this morning when the start switch decided to stop working. It wouldn't stay closed so would only work while my finger was on the button. Had a rake around the tubs and found a solution f8eeede7805730cfc3f05cca5bd3bdb8.jpg

Back in the game haha

if it works it works :thumbup1: you want a proper bodge up job shoulda seen ma cousins old landy it had a mk2 golf radiator cable tied to the grill, wooden blocks keeping the axles off the chassis, a tube through the dash to deliver easy start without getting out and it only had 3rd and reverse!

Love the idea of being able to give a shot of easy start from the drivers seat :thumbup:
