Waney edge cladding

Does anyone have waney edge cladding for my dads workshop/shed. Something durable and dried for outdoor use. 4.1m wide 2.5m high for cladding the front in waney edge. We are in Kent. Cheers

I never considered elm, was exspecting larch, ceder and the like. Would be interested if you could find out. Cheers

Hi, if the guys at copford can't supply to your area, I could do you oak or wr cedar waney edge or feather edge. Bit of a haul tho, so might make it too expensive for you.

One of our old customers had a old style but new barn extension and they used elm boards, however I recalled they where French import. If I recall, you had to pre drill holes before nailing, otherwise splits like a bitch !!!

 

Will try and get over next week for that beech, surprised it warped under the weight of Oak in the kiln!!! Hopefully salvageable
