Ms200t problem

Hi guys my ms200t fill it with fuel and it was entirely empty in no time then refuled it it was OK all day then notice that the square plastic bit that hold the big pipe to the pot has smell of petrol and residue of petrol think in might be leaking or slightly damage pipe can anyone help please

Big pipe? Do you mean the intake manifold? I wouldn't think that would be leaking petrol mate. If it were damaged the saw would probably not run right. I would check the breather out first.

Top of the the tank under the air filter, that is more likely to be leaking and running down over the saw.

If you have fuel leaking out of the tank, if it ignights, it will harm you do get it fixed.

 

Possibly a crack in the tank, holed fuel line, leak around the fuel line or faulty/missing breather. Also check the filler cap, it is possible that it wasn't done up correctly and it leaks sometimes.

Thanks spud thought that it couldn't be the intake but wasn't sure I will strip it down later m8 cheers
