I reckon they have exactly the same mechanical parts as all the others do, but the plastics have been made to look like a cross between Husky and Echo, and so they charge an extra £50.

If you're going to buy a Chinese no-name saw, I'd probably say buy the cheapest one you can find. Otherwise Mitox seems like the best bet.

In fact Mitox saws are about the same money as those 'Cobra' saws, but good luck finding spares for the 'Cobra' saws...

Without mentioning names, Mitox and Cobra are both "own brands" for 2 of the major garden machinery distributors in the UK and both will have spares readily available. They will have come from China built to the importers specification so will be a better bet than most other chinese saws but at a higher price as there will be a proper warranty and spares back up, all this costs

Sounds like the same ol' crude Chinese knockoff of an old Zenoah design, that appears under different "brand names" all the time - stay away!

If they are, they are sold by the pallet in the color the (pallet) costumers request, and are branded in different ways, courtecy of the costumer. Then they appear in ads on different "sales" sites, like E-bay, with more or less suspect descriptions - that may lead an unsupecting costumer to believe they are decent saws. They aren't, pure crap!
