we haven't finished filling it yet i think we will get around 700 in there it's open both ends 24/7 and has the vents on sides open as well.

One thing I have found to stop mold, put the logs in part seasoned/ dry from rain water makes a huge difference. My layout is different as in I don't have the middle pallets just pallets up against the sides and have a walkway through the middle. May get mold problems close to the middle but you wont know until you try.

they are mostly unseasoned ,i hope the vents on the side will give the one's on the bottom air .

Might just be the camera angle but some of those nets look like they're touching the polythene. Bad idea if they are.

 

Otherwise looking good, even got me looking to buy one now.

Time will tell on this one. I would defo cut a pallet down for the Middle and loose the ply wood as that is the most likely bit for mould. Now they are stacked in there you may as well keep going. If you find after a week the bags are bleaching you could sneak something over the stack like hessian sack to keep the sun off but still allow breathing.

I think a walkway down the middle as Sam suggests is a must. Even with a hurricane blowing through those centre bags will only see still air. We get problems if cord is stacked touching so worth the loss in storage space I would say.

we will take your advice on this one and make a path down the middle .

Or as you have already started, make a few spaces along the width of the tunnel.

 

Save you restacking the pile again, and if you have no mould problems you can take the spaces out.
