Throw line rope installation

Hi

Just started using SRT for access mainly. Had a cheap throw line in bag for ages but mostly used it for putting pull lines into trees. Now have big shot and cube, but am wondering how much difference an expensive (throw) line will make. Also would it be prudent to keep a spare one in case one gets stuck etc and finally is it worth getting a range of different weight bags. what are the whys and wherefores of using the different types.

Used a foot and knee ascender this weekend. Couldn't believe it. Easier than walking up a ladder:001_smile:

Thanks

Nose straps..?? to attach main line to? rather than untying bag...?

Yep. Mini crab and boom!

I find 50m fine for hand throwing.

Any more would just complicate things.

Just under 80' each end is plenty where I work.
