Dawyck Botanic Gardens

I'm planning a detour to the Dawyck Botanic Gardens whilst on a biking holiday in Innerleithen this weekend. What are the highlights / must see's? The DBG website doesn't give much away!

 

Any guidance greatfully recieved as time will be at a premium.

Innerleithen is well good a long peddle up but fun on teh way down, are you doing glentress as well?

 

Dawyck is really nice, some big trees there, nice views up the tweed valley.

What's the cool looking multi-stem tree on the right side of the photo?

worked around there many times, there is some of the largest douglas firs to be seen, they have herd of deer n grounds, a bit trick to get there, tomtom will help
