New Holland spools have been horizontal for some years now put pressure in left return in right pull lever towards you and all will work right way round if there is a black knob near the top of spool that will select single or double acting or detent of lever in cab hope that helps

Cant remember if its same on newer ones but on my 6610 there were levera on the side of the spool valves themselves that you had to pull down after connecting the hydraulics to allow oil flow.
