A couple from my trip to canada. Idea was not to come up with a finished product but to carry out the heavy stuff so they could potter round planting, putting grass seed down etc.

 

Felled about 30 trees and ground stumps as applicable, placed 20 cubic yards of rockery stones, put down 30 cubic yards of hardcore, 20 yards of topsoil, 50 yards of sandy loam, and laid over 800sq yards of turf.

 

Small excavator and bob cat helped no end without a shadow of a doubt.

Just a little bit of turf. They did decide to seed the middle of the island in the drive as they felt it would have a chance of succeeding.

 

With Bobcats I think it's more a question of access, as there is just loads more space out there so there useful whereas for Mrs Jones' garden they're not much help. There also used for snow clearance in the winter, which is about 5 months of the year.

 

Certainly different working out there. It was in Prince George, BC

 

Brilliant time and been invited back out there next year to start another section for them!!

 

Twas hard relaxing at night though - See attached picture!
