Just had my new alstor 8x8 delivered what a differance , reverse drive , new protected shafts, new bogie set up , bigger crane and 22 cat diesel engine .

That looks so much better than the one I used to drive, reverse drive will make a big difference to comfort and that longer reach crane should make it a lot more productive, how's it for stability?

Has the new 1 done away with the centrifuge clutch which is something that gave us a lot of bother...

All good i drove the old one for five years with no dramas but this one is a proper contractors machine , defo more stable but the whole machine has been redesigned its a beast.

That job was four and half days cutting and extracting 400 to 500 mtr haul to roadside, 150 cubic mtrs 60% ash and other hardwoods if you need some timber the owner is sellling it .

Nooo I'm not buying got a load to sell my self I was looking in to getting a alstor my self but could not afford it got a alpine and fowarder trailer but still like the idea of a compact fowarder it's just the alpine is a bit more versatile
