Igland winch on mog

Hi all. My first post

Have just fit an igland linkage winch on my mog. Not sure about the pto angle it's about 45degrees on both UJs Will this be ok

45 sounds steep, might be better with a double cardan.Wide angle | gkn-walterscheid.de

Yep thought that or possibly alter the lower link arm mounts to lift the machine to a better angle

What model of igland is it? on mine you can reposition the input shaft on the winch itself, its not too big a job...

It's a 60 will have a look at that in daylight it might be a simpler way thanks

You can lower the pto shaft on the mog with a banana box

You take a plate off, take some links out of the drive chain and move the pulley up... an hour's work maybe....

what model is the mog?

Have you ran it up to see how it sounds?

If its too steep an angle, you will likely hear a noise from just behind the cab that doesnt sound right.

Also adjusting the top link can make a difference.

I shortened arms before and that was a couple of hours work for a fabricator, maybe something to consider, obviously you can make them longer too but that can effect lift more.
