Hi all,

Im needing to earn some extra, as mon-fri not really cutting it, no pun.

I have NPTC PA06A/W which to date i think ive only used to treat stumps,

Any options worth looking into using this ticket? Could be perfect as i dont have trucks etc, just me a-b focus ;-)

Appreciate your thought

As they are cancelling grandfather rights on spraying in November, there ought to be loads of work on farms, but the spraying season will be over by then, so no good for this year

I do a lot of farm knapsacking, generally people dont like doing it round here as very hilly. Once you get your name out farmers talk to each other or put a small advert in your local parish magazine or shop. I personally have never advertised and have lots of knapsacking this time of year.

Thanks for your replies,

Ive never quoted for such work so day rate would probably be good idea,

Is the farm work knapsacking around buildings etc for example? Never considerd it, just assumed driveways an the like

We normally do around buildings and any rough areas that cant be topped, round newly planted trees and hedges, patches of brambles, spot treating docks in fields, etc

I am in two minds whether to get tested or just get someone in for the odd day, especially as the sprayer will need a test as well as the operator by 2016
