Terrible sad news. RIP.

I was helping a friend in Holland (he was in a large Birch tree me on the ground in a small garden) and he was tired and threw a strop with a metal connection which hit me on the helmet cracking it. I was wearing a bright Orange helmet and work jacket.

Should all climbing teams be using good reliable radio communications to avoid this ever happening again?

Shouting to people over the noise of chainsaws and woodchippers is useless.
