Stihl Fs85 gear head

How much for the 220? I'm after a spare just in case my fs85 decides to stop can't afford to be without a straight shaft brush cutter this year.

Struggling with the part numbers, I am going to need the shaft diameter and the drive shaft diameter and type - am guessinng it is spline but need the numbers of splines.

 

I have one or two that look similar!

 

Will have to have a look when I pick it up on Saturday.

Glad it has been handy. I'm picking up the strimmer on Saturday and will be giving it a good check over before I pay.

I won't be collecting it until Saturday but the part number for the gear head itself is Stihl 4130 641 0305.

 

I have found another part number for it; 4137 640 0100. Hope this is better.

None of my gear heads have part numbers that I can find so still need the external shaft diameter and the drive shaft diameter and shape!

 

If I have anything that looks like it will work, I will load up a few photos!

Here are the pics you wanted, Spud. The strimmer shaft is round and 1 inch in diameter. The driveshaft is square in cross section.
