I'm off to canada for a little while on sunday, anybody know if it would be worth my while buying any stuff -tools, ropes etc out there. Just wondering how many pennies to take with me.

They call them Toonies and loonies mate, you will need a few for the coin toss at the bars... Those that have been to Canada and been to the right kind of bars will know what i mean!

i got a ms192t when i was out there as they have autumn promotions about septemberish time, i got mine with freebies inlcuding: one of the big hard carry boxes (for a normal saw) some stihl dvds, a timbersports cap, two bars and chains,

 

I also bought a SH85 blower/shreader total bill was about £180 for the ms192 and £150 for the blower (that was a present for my old man)

 

I boxed it all into the blower box, wrapped it in brown parcel tape and bought it back as luggage, as i had only used one case for the way out :)

I'm not quite sure what the crack will be out there, going out there to do some work for a guy that we used to do some work for in France. Obviously my insurance doesn't work out there, and I've made that clear to him.

 

Accordingly that will limit what I'm prepared to tackle, but he's got some contacts so hopefully................
