Hi All,

I am the groundsman at a private house near Delamere Forest I'm Cheshire, earlier this year we lifted all of the trees in the field with the intention of getting either sheep or Llamas! Not going to have time to chip it myself with a hire's machine. Looking for someone with a tracked chipper to come along and well, chip the brash. Some in piles some still where they landed. We are short for time and very busy on other projects here. Needs to be tracked as there is a small pile In our woodland too. I am unable to send photos but if you email me at leeoulton@live.co.uk I will send over photos and extra details. Looking for a quote and it needs doing fast as the grass is growing and we intend to top the field with a tractor. Good access and all Woodchip is to be blown into the boundaries. Many thanks

Matthew Pooley at Treefellers is in Boughton, he has a 15" tracked chipper as attached if there is a fair amount. His number is 07876772026. ImageUploadedByArbtalk1428606757.780279.jpg.6925b50bfb83b2274f8ff12fdd935da4.jpg

I like the look of that!! Have you managed to keep it under 3.5t with a custom built trailer again? How much work is there time wise lee?

The chipper weighs more than that.

I can't imagine there is a trailer strong enough to carry that that weighs less than 3.5 tonnes empty to be honest - it is a real monster! Matt is a great guy and this chipper is the dog's danglies - if you've got a big enough site this is what you need!

A firm I subbied to had one a bit smaller than that that was exactly 3.5t with the lightweight trailer, can only have been a couple of inches down from that one.
