Which mill for me

Bit like the helmet / gloves / boots threads....but here goes....

I'm looking to buy a mill to use to build larch-clad buildings - modular sheds, workshops, etc. Currently using a Logosol M8 and big Stihl (so I don't do much milling!) Have had a go with both Lucas and Peterson swing arm mills, which seem useful tools.

Haven't Woodmizer budget.

Would like mill to be semi-portable.

Am I missing something? Does anyone have sales leads? Lad on Arbtrader with Lucas didnt reply, so his must have gone in the blink of an eye. Should I buy new or s/h?

Thanks in advance

Woodmizer have got a big sale on at the moment, so worth looking at there small mills again.

That said there are other very good mills on the market. Whichever you go with make sure they have a good parts back up etc.

Woodmizer may be hated by some on here but theve been around a while for a reason.

Can't wait to hear what you come up with!!! 👍
