Hi Guys

Bit of help from any Stihl gooroos out there.

I picked up my new Ms362cm 18" today.

Now I've noticed that it has " MS362 C" on the chain brake.

It also has a three poz switch not two as I thought came with the cm model .

Here's what I know , part No 1140 200 0179 is a MS 362 c m.

This saw has a part No 1140 967 3304A S.

( 179582322 stamped on plate)

Date 12/2014

Have they given me the model without the electronics ?

I have the 2015 catalogue open in front of me and this saw order number isn't in it!!!

Any ideas guys?

Too annoyed to think straight!

Can't really help with most of it, but my ms261cm has a three position swith, off on and choke.

If there are no holes on the side for tuning screwdriver it's probably auto tune, if there are holes it's probably not?

I was thinking of another 60 cc saw but seen the 362 is now a mtronic

Admittedly the husqvarna 365 is a 70 cc but for the money its where i will be going

Goo luck with the fancy saw :D

If its the cm model you should be able to see a red wire if you look at the side of the throttle body (carb) to run a solenoid valve.

If theres no red wire there its not the cm model

Thanks a lot guys.

I just opened her up and yes there is a solenoid on the throat'd body .

I know these sit on the displays for a while so the date thing isn't a problem.

Get to play with it tomorrow after all.
