It's been a while, since I've had a job like this and really pleased to have been able to film it. OK, so I'm not Spielberg but I'm happy with the results. It was a great day....the sun even shone!

I hope you enjoy.

The tree is still standing, it's habitually loosing limbs on a very regular basis, it has been reduced quite heavily in the past (not by us). The branches were taken down on exemption due to being a very real danger. I was surprised how acceptable the appearance of the tree is, but further work will be needed, so a TPO app. is going in.

Do you think your sling placements could have been more advantageous? Having the one leg so close to you (the climber) didnt give the crane as much control as say, having one sling at balance point, so it could either lift or drop depending on the cut and the weight balance of the limb... Just my 2cents from my armchair. Good job.

I think you may be correct there. It wasn't me climbing (I'm too out of shape nowadays!! I'm credited as being the Groundie) it was our head climber and it was his first crane job, so yes, I think, as with everything we learn from what we do. Thanks for the constructive advice....appreciated
