10ft x 3ft hardwood slab for table

The boards Cornish Chuff has are extremely high quality - first length of the tree was clean and straight grained, the second with some lovely burr (it's sweet chestnut btw). Both lengths will easily give 3ft straight edged boards as the widest was over 4ft 6". Best sweet chestnut I've ever seen in Scotland.

Thanks .bj. yes definitely a good job by your good self .We did have some superb yew boards that width - but all gone now .

4ft wide oak in the pipeline but gonna take a while to dry

 

More just the luck of coming across the tree and good fortune that nothing broke over the course of the milling.

 

Nice looking Yew - bloody daft size.
