so if and when i make the tipper, will it make the back much higher? so for £3000 how old or how new do u reckoni could get one, i just dont want loads of miles :blushing:

for 3k you should get something roung thet-y reg age mate , putting a tipper the truck will not lift the suspension but i would recomend going to some where like milner off road and gettin some heavy duty springs . as for miles as long as the milles are not excesivly high i would not worrk , my truck has now done 165k and still going well

When you fit the tipper, unless you put wheel arches in it:thumbdown: it WILL affect the height of the load bed- 4x4s have wheel arches in the load area precisely to avoid the problem yet still allowing suspension travel. Its not so bad when you offset it against not having to handball everything off!:001_smile:

sorry i thought that the question was regarding to the suspension liftin due to there bein less weight over the rear leaf springs , but as tommer says yes the bed of the tipper will be higher than what is origionaly fitted to the hi lux :blushing:

i pay 320 fully comp all mods declared, ie tipper body, suspension and wheels, winches etc.

swapping to the tipping body will move the load higher due to the tip frame sitting ontop of the lift chassis, you could try and make it sit within the rails but the hydraulic ram would contact the diesel tank if you werent careful

yall drive little baby trucks don't cha I can't belive anyone would even bother puting a dump bed on one of those little things

Yeah we all got li'l tiny roads (highways) over this side of the pond sir.

If we had put a bit more thought into it we would have constructed huge roads that could take massive trucks.

Then you guys could have sold, all us limey tree guys Chevy's, Fords & Hummers and then you would not have all the economic problems that you now face.

Dont you go "puting" a dump bed on us ya hear.:sneaky2:
