Planning portal help

Hi,

 

When using the planning portal, how can I view pending applications?

When I click on "my applications" the icons along the top read draft, submitted, transferred and archived.

When I click on transferred, all of my applications pending or decided, show up. When I click on an individual application it just comes up with the details of my application when submitted.

How can I view what's pending and decided applications?

I'm pretty sure I've done it before but can't seem to work it.

The PP just delivers your application to the LA, once they are processing it nothing shows up in the PP.

 

Your LA may have public access to planning apps on their website, I think most do now actually. You can look at current and past applications, and comment on live ones before they are decided.

Yes it is annoying that the PP is not joined to LA processes but I guess that would just be such a massive job it just wont be workable.

 

Some LA's will list them as part of the planning process, and some don't. Just look on the web sites and see if they are listed. I know the EU and GOV are pushing for more and more on line so I know it will happen in the end.

That's exactly what I do once they are submitted I look at them on the LA website for progress

Once Iv submitted it I forget all about it until the consent letter comes through. It's a nice little surprise then, like a birthday card from an aunt you haven't seen for 20 years.
