Can't stand the show myself. As someone who loves to see dogs working in their field, whether it's a lurcher coursing rabbits or collies herding sheep. Seeing what the kennel club has done to some of our old working breeds such as Bulldogs, mastiffs, cavalier spaniels I just think it's the biggest crock of s***

Morning Jon, I'm an old bigot after seeing what the Kennel club did to some breeds of dog, & so won't give them my support, as in my opinion they ruined some good working breeds, & created a lot of suffering.

Yes mate,I'm sure it's a great show, I'm just peeved that when it was brought to the public eye about inbreeding/ deformity & illness problems, to accentuate certain traits of certain breeds, the KC were in denial & slow to respond to a multitude of real concerns, in fact, they were in denial over some issues that have caused long term suffering in some animals & detracted from working strains.

Basically they were after form rather than function, pure vanity imo, & the notion of form was to exaggerate some traits the old true breeds had by, in some instances with KC club breeders, couple direct mother/ son to achieve the 'look'!

Even Hitler didn't manage that!
