Having always used stihl I now have use of a husky 357xp at work but want to run a stihl bar and chain as don't like the oregon ones seem to find they don't hold there sharpness as well. Is this a simple one for one swap or not?

You can run stihl chain no problem. If you must have a Stihl bar you'll need an adapter. RobD of Chainsawbars.co.uk sells these.

If you're investing in a new bar however, Sugi Hara light type pro is the best one, and you won't need an adaptor. It's probably cheaper to buy the Sugi bar than it is to buy a Stihl bar and adaptor.

As above . Also the oil hole on the Stihl bar may not line up with the outlet on the Husky power head . Get a Sugi bar and all is well . Simples
