Patrick Whitefield 1949-2015

Feeling sad Patrick Whitefield (Permaculture teacher & all round good person) passed away today.

I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with him a couple of times - he was such an inspiring person & had so much warmth to his personality.

A great man in a small niche....

I remember seeing him on TV a few years back, he seemed like a real nice guy with a real passion.

We did a number of tipi things together in the late 80's and he kindly signed my copy of 'The Earth Care Manual'. A lot of what he wrote is being put into our little piece of England.

I'll miss his enthusiasm and wisdom.

He'll certainly still be helping us out in the practical sense as well Codlasher.
