What is the easiest money you have ever made?

I just got in my landy, drove 500yds up the road, made one cut with my 361 to get rid of a small Leylandii stump, having said i would just nip in and do it, and the owner (i had dealt with his neighbour, my mate) came out and gave me a tenner, and wouldnt even let me sweep up the handful of sawdust. Back home in less than 15 mins!:001_cool:

Result!:001_tt1:

Thats only 40 quid an hour? I wouldn't leave home for that. 400 quid in half hour once, police escort to site too! Branch failed over busy road traffic held up in both direction, police brought me to the front of the queue from miles away. The branch was a whole upright stem of beech leaning into another beech and towards the road. I climbed the good beech and cut one branch off and the whole leanign section collapsed into the verge and a bit in the road. The land owner had employees there to clear up I went home!

Really? I wasnt expecting anything. I had told my mate i would just drop in and do it!

Well in that case you didn't earn 10 quid in 15 minutes, you did the work for nothing and he gave you a tenner, nice!

where i live there is a communal car park so got home one night and was met by a gentalman who owns the holiday house which backs on to the car park and he wanted his eucaliptus pruning so got the silky out of the truck. Took 45mins, not bad job to have for £50 the misses even bought me a cup of tea whilst i was doing it.

i think my easyest money was earnt on a stump i ground out , it was a sycamore stump roughly 26 inches accros . i charged 170 to grind it as i thought it was going to be a pain in the arse with a little pedestrian grinder , 45 mins later i was on my way again as the estate gardener said he would clear up as it would give him something to do
