Yes if I can get hold of it, and it depends on the degree of rot, if the timber is just marked then that's ok, but if there is evidence of crumbling I will leave it or cut it out.

No I used the tool for making the eyes ... In my die grinder, but I burned them in at an angle to give a semi circle shape.

 

Shaun from the Spirit of Norfolk made me the tool for the die grinder.

 

I really like that pecker Ian well done :thumbup1:

 

Nice to see the eye tool being used in all ways not just eyes............ they make good nostrels on bears etc in the same way using it on the edge :sneaky2:
