I tell you what, there are some really great second hand bigger chippers around for not very much money. There's a 220gm for 4500 with less than a 1000 hrs on treebay atm.

Get past 750kg and you get a lot of bang for your buck.

Edit, I don't know where I got the hours from, doesn't say, but it looks like a good machine..

It is Tom, but I don't know anyone that took it up. The disc blades are fitted as standard still. Fwiw, the quad version would be similar in weight, but, at the mo, it has been stalled.
