Hydraulic hoses

I am currently using 4 ply hoses to operate a rotating/log grip on a 3.5t machine, problem is the hose fitting's at the rotater keeps striping the thread, think because hoses to rigid causing fitting to come slack then strip thread when hose moves about?

Would this problem be solved with a more flexible hose? If so what hose would i need?

Cheers

You could try lengthening the hose and twisting a pig tail to absorb the twist or even putting a pair of quick connectors in the line (mind they cause no end of problems if they get hit).

I thought about using swivel fittings right enough, are these special swivel fittings as look differnt and lot dearer than the normal swivel fittings i have seen, would a more flexiable hose help aswell? 2 ply or the geith you mentioned? Does the harvesters use flexiable geith hoses?

Cheers
