370,000, 55 plate 130, but it's a bit like triggers broom, think only the chassis and cab are original

Think it's all about the servicing!!

 

Definitely on defenders and old discos but d3 onwards its lap of gods. No matter how serviced or driven hard makes no difference it's all luck. Mine was fully serviced and mint at 60 k never towed and used to go to golf courses. 10k miles with me and it just fell to bits and I am talking over 10 k in repairs.

Oh BTW when I say religiously, I don't say mass or anything while I change the oil, I just crack on with it in the normal way... :-)

Those were the days when you could change the oil every 6k and get 100k before u spent any money. Those were the days before common rail,Dpfs, dmfs, egrs, swirl flaps, euro six emissions and all the other gizmos that pack up on a daily basis often taking 8 k of engine with them.

I bet most of these landys are just like what wilks said!! "Triggers broom" they will have had just about everything changed and money thrown at them every other month!!!!
