Thanks, I would like to do cs33. I fell large trees all the time but still nice to have the tickets. I have been on a list at otley but no one does this ticket so can never get 4 people together.:001_smile:

Would be a nice one to do david, perhaps lack of places is to do with a limited amount of trees available to do the assessment on.

Problem seems to be, the trainers want a minimum of 4 students on the course to make it viable. They then need a couple of trees each to carry out training, then at least one more each to do the assessment.

Suddenly you need a minimum of 12 trees to carry out the the ticket, within a set area for such training center.

Not many centers can offer such high numbers of "difficult" trees.

i was wondering about 33, has gone from large trees to specialist trees, its one on my list to do,

i will also be keen to see what cs50 will be made up of for damaged tree techniques, any ideas Bob, will it be for climbing and aerial work in storm damaged trees

not sure rumours were for highway guys and railway guys ect so they could clear fallen trees and branches without having to do shed loads of courses for things they would not need

but i may be wrong
