Not having ever been in a scrum , but up close being a 9 in my youth the last thing I would call them is a joke ! The rugby League scrum however is nothing but a token uncontested gesture .....

 

Oh hell, I'm too whimpy to get in there. What I mean is the actual process which more often than not just ends up in a penalty after a collapse and reset. It just takes too long.

 

I like the RL scrum, its purpose is to get the forwards all in one area on the pitch and make more space for decent plays and tries (yes, tries, something I don't see enough of in Union)!!

If Ireland win it then it will happen entirely by accident.

 

Schmidt has his eyes firmly on the World Cup and will be quite happy to sacrifice the 6N in order to assist preparations for it, which they will probably win!

 

:sneaky2::sneaky2: when our Celtic cousins say they ain't got much chance then bet your life savings on them winning :thumbup:

I dubbined me boots checked me jockstrap and bought a bag of oranges . Sat by the phone waiting for the call ....Nothing ! Serves em, right . That is the last time I make myself available for England call up .....
