Italians are pretty good at aluminium, they make a lot of compressor pumps and scooter engines. If the price is right I'd give them a try.

I was always told that the Italian piston kits were the ones' to go for out of the pattern parts producers. Have used a few Italian piston/ring kits with no problems.
