Exactly the boot I was considering as well, I thought it looked good and stout, despite the garish yellow.

Saying that, for similar money I liked the look of the Arbortec Fellhunter Xpert as well.

The trouble is, there is no one shop that stocks them all so without input from the likes of this forum it's a bit of a lucky dip.

I have them, they are actually orange! They are bright, yes, but that lasts a couple of days before they are grey/brown. They are seriously comfortable.

Pretty good boots, waterproofing is great and I've used them in some shocking forestry conditions. This pair are probably about a year old worn five days a week most weeks. Fit is obviously the most important thing, I find the other brands I've tried on are to narrow or to get the width to long! The Protector Pros I had before had the sole fall off after about a year and a half. Was a bit disappointed with that.

I find my spikes fit these boots better than the Protector pros.

Seriously considering a pair of these for my next boots as the airstreams I've had for the last 6-8 months are already starting to show signs of the soles falling apart. I have a back up pair of old haix Tibet forests that are getting on for 3years old and still perfectly good so if these new versions offer more of the same plus some better comfort then I recon it could be a done deal unless anyone can offer a better suggestion for a 5 day a week forestry boot to do everything from sawing to forwarder driving in any weather.

Got my pair of these today and initial impressions are very good they are a tad on the stiff side however once they are broken in a bit I have every confidence that these will be properly comfy and hard wearing just like my old Tibet forests

They are just as shockingly bright as the pictures show but as others have said I'm sure that will soon fade 😀👍🏻
