I think there is a 2015 model which tows 3 ton

 

Do you know any more about the 2015 model?

 

Or any of you who's been to the dealers recently? any more rumours?

 

Ive been set on getting a new 3.0 Hilux in May, but the current model has been about for 10 years now, which is a long time in the car world and the limited info online suggests bigger, comfier, more power, better mpg, higher tow rating...but no date or solid info, very little really....

I read (so am not in any way certain) that the mark 7 had started in 2005, had 2 facelifts and then a model update in 2013, as i understand facelifts are cosmetic, the difference between the pre 2013 and post 2013 are more significant cosmetically, but the interior is very similar, same shapes ect. If the engine and the like are unchanged then its quite old imo.

 

Still the 2014 model is extremely nice imo/ime

Yes Jon I would say I get between 10% and 15% more MPG with the chip.
