Hi folks, I had a problem with my Dolmar not oiling. Solved a problem with the pump but now I have a new problem. The 20" bar does not line up with the oil hole/slot.

I've re drilled the holes as close as I can get to the oil slot, the problem now seems to be that the chain is failing to pick up the oil as it passes because the holes are below the teeth as they pass.

I think the only option is a new bar. I've spoken to Rob at Chainsawbars and he's been as helpful as he can and suggested a modification to allow the saw to take a 395xp bar.

Ideally I'd like an original bar, but will go with any fix at the moment as I need this saw working soon.

The oil holes need blocking off one side and the spare ones blocking completely or the oil is going to the wrong place. Randy sells Oregon Powermatch bars for the saw so they should be available.

Don't they get blocked off when the clutch cover gets clamped on ?
