best way of making cambium saver pulley

Hi all,

 

I currently have a stein cambium saver and a spare hitch climber pulley and want to know the safest/ best way of attaching the pulley to the C.S, shall I use mallions like said in other threads or larksfoot on a small tape sling? Keen to do it as cheaply as I can with the bits that I have and a few small bits should I need to buy them.

 

At the mo, I just clip it on with a karabiner but know that that is not a good, long term solution,

Instead of the hitchclimber pulley, which is both too bulky and too useful to be waster as a top anchor, get a small maillon, and the cheapest rated micro pulley.

 

Make sure the maillon is done up tight and keep an eye on the Ali/steel wear.

 

Or search "rope guides for the masses" to find a brilliantly simple, cheaper alternative to the pulley saver. Great idea by Drew Bristow if I recall.
