i havnt used it to chip into my truck ,thick or what ,rushing to get your posts up boys ,,,,

 

sorry mate, i assumed that as it was being towed behind a transit chip truck, and it being a chipper, that you would be chipping into the chip truck

 

,,,And as stated in previous post its bloody horrible ,

 

tad confusing, as on ebay its '. . . fantastic machine' and 'that can be operated by any numpty/idiot /brash rat'

 

good luck with the sale, although imo it'd be an expensive cup of tea

I worked for a guy who had a PTO Vermeer on a home built trailer powered by a big Merc diesel, it was awesome!

That wasnt down here was it mate- north cornwall...? I know a guy who has an 8"(i think) farmi- PTO vermeer- he has mounted on a trailer, but is run by a deutz twin cylinder air cooled, it may have had a merc one first:confused1:. Its a pretty amesome machine.

I was thinking of going the other way if i get a mog and ripping the engine off my vermeer and running that PTO until i can afford a real chipper. May not get a mog yet though....
