12 x 6 Tipping Trailer

I have run several ifor 8x5 tippers, and then went up to the 10x5, I looked at the 12x6 but decided it was too big to get in to a lot of the places I deliver to.

You may want to look at other makes as well though, the later ifor tippers are not that good quality wise compared to the old models, when I replace I will be looking at others and very much doubt it will be an ifor.

I've got a 10x5 and that's very heavy when fully loadeda12x6 would probably be over weight. The 10x5 has been manoeuvred into some tight spots easily enough. I don't know how much harder an extra few feet either way would make this, maybe a 10x5 would be a good compromise ?

Take your point about the 12 by 6 tipper being an awkward beast , particularly in housing estates . They do tow particularly well mind you (steadier than a tri axle in my experience) and obviously if youre prepared to take the odd ahem liberty serious towing capacity . I had a shade under 4 tonne of sand on mine the other morning and id say its not the heaviest payload its carried .
