As the title suggests, today I noticed some abrasion on my climbing rope, kernmaster, singly from a redirect, I guess it kind of makes sense but still didn't expect the rope to be that bad at taking a rub, any one else had this?

I've found that the cover seems to fray easily. I done some pines recently and used natural redirects and there was a bit of fraying. Nothing major but something to keep watchful for.

Never had an issue! And my orange kern is 3 years old. And the other 1 1/2 both in great condition, you sure you've not slipped with your foot ascender??

Might have but not that I remember, I'll keep an eye on it, the strength of a kern is the centre right? Lol
