First proper holiday for 10 years

I say proper because this is one place where you don't come back more knackered than when you left: Bryher - Isles of Scilly. Under canvas, no TV, Internet, Radio, nothing. No roads, car/house alarms, traffic, thieves. Just the occasional outboard motor in the distance, Oyster Catchers playing and the sea. After two weeks of this it feels odd being in the house, driving a vehicle and not swaying from side to side. Can't bring myself to turn the TV on, go into a supermarket or do anything in a hurry. Stress threaders go there quick!

Lots of mature Elms in the photo fyi

Looks stunning mate. Hope you had a good time.

I often wonder about the Scilly as a destination

Totally gorgeous if the suns shining - desolate if it aint! And expensive - everything is marked up due to import (shipping) costs from the mainland. Apart from that and cooler water than the coast it's flippin' paradise...
