which 12v fuel transfer pump

Which is a good 12v fuel transfer pump, to take red diesel out of barrels in to tractors and machery

I have just bought one of these New Diesel Transfer Pump 12 Volt DC Portable Fuel Self Priming Oil Kerosene 45L | eBay Self priming and that suction strainer is really good at not getting the last dregs ( crap) out of the bottom of the barrel.

Tis a Rule 280. Got it from Marine Bazaar, Plymouth. Good flow rate and better quality than the ebay / pirtek ones. £45. Got the yellow hose from them too.

That looks just like the 12v electric water pump in our trailer tent.

Sorry, I'd assumed submersible altho the Rule will run either submerged or with pickup hose altho the latter obviously reduces head considerably. The continuous duty motor is a good thing and it is safe to run dry. One downside - no switch in the cable.
