Not to sidetrack the thread, but I remember when NFU were unbeatably cheap, I even cancelled a policy mid term to switch my van over to them as it still saved me money even with the cancellation penalty!

Last time I tried them for the girlfriends car it was a right pain in the jacksie. After a rather formal 'interview' in a little office (as if we were applying for a marriage certificate) :) we got hit with the 'you're not gonna like this..' preamble before he gave me a quote over DOUBLE the worst one we'd had!!

At least with the Internet these days it's a lot easier to search, rather than the old Yellow Pages and a telephone fiasco of days gone by...

I am with Aviva I ve got a multi car policy with them with transit tipper 04 plate 90 hp and 110 tipper and my d max is about £840 fully comp any drivers over 25 and third party over 21. think the d max worked out to be £400 of that figure at most as it came down by £200 from my ranger I had previous. I don't know why a d max is is so much cheaper than a ranger but its better for my wallet.

Use Aviva for all mine

Really good and also there online site is good for adding drivers changing policies etc

Transit tipper 08 plate any driver

Ford ranger 53 plate any driver

VW passatt me and misses + business use

£1,500

Also they sent me a letter confirming they knew the tipper was a tipper and high sided as I hear this can be a excuse to get out of claiming
