it is a fairly big stump was quite a large multi stemmer, trouble with hand digging and exposing the cable was it was so close to the stump i was worried that the grinder would catch it anyway, it might of been possible but as the job had been a nightmare from the start the last thing i wanted to do was to hit his cable and cause more problems!!

personaly i would rather leave the stump and take what im owed for the rest of the job , at least that way they guy does not get any more reason not to pay pluss you have a good reason not to grind it ! at least this way if he does decide not to pay you have not done anything wrong or caused any dammage .
