Seen rabbits scramble chicken net and one even cleared 2ft of net grand national style.

I was just about to nail one against some four or five feet high netting next to a railway bank when it leapt vertically and cleared it onto the bank.

The only protection against rabbit damage other than tree and shrub guards is rabbit netting, this should be dug in to stop them burrowing under it.

I am surprised that there are any rabbits left anywhere now, VHD and Buzzards have wiped them out in my area, I am out delivering stoves and logs until 9pm most nights and rarely see one.

Plenty round here. Yesterday I was restocking a hedge and 3 ran out across open pasture. A really bad shot would of struggled to miss. At least 20 seconds each.
